Even 48 hours after Sheikh Hasina fled Dhaka and arrived in India, her final destination remains uncertain.

Indian media reports indicate that with the doors to the UK and the USA currently closed to her, she is now exploring other options.

The Hindu, an Indian media outlet, reported that the former prime minister had already failed in her attempt to seek political asylum in the UK. Consequently, she is now considering taking refuge in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Finland.

However, her son, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, said that Sheikh Hasina has not sought asylum anywhere.

He told NDTV that she might be traveling to places where family members reside, such as the USA, the UK, Finland, and India.

Joy also mentioned that he is in Washington, his aunt is in London, and his sister lives in Delhi, so they are still uncertain about her exact whereabouts.

The Times of India reported that Sheikh Hasina might travel to countries where her family members live, such as the USA, the UK, Finland, and India.

On Monday, CNN's affiliate News 18, citing sources from the Bangladeshi opposition, reported that the USA has canceled Hasina's visa. However, the USA has not yet commented on the authenticity of this claim.

On Tuesday, it was reported that Sheikh Hasina would remain in India for a few more days. However, it is not yet known how long New Delhi will allow her to stay.

Sheikh Hasina, the president of the Awami League, had to step down and leave the country after a massive public movement, ending her 15 and a half years of rule
