The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has issued an alert at the Kushtia border.
Kushtia Battalion (47 BGB) Commander Lieutenant Colonel Md Mahbub Murshed Rahman said late on Monday that all Bangladeshi citizens were requested to refrain from any attempts to illegally or carelessly cross the border to avoid any unintended life-threatening situations from the other side of the border.
Kushtia’s Daulatpur is a border-adjacent upazila. Daulatpur covers an area of 461 square kilometres, with 46.69km being a border area.
