Four divisions get new commissioners

The Ministry of Public Administration has appointed four additional secretaries as divisional commissioners in a major change in administration.

A notification was issued in this regard today signed by the ministry's Deputy Secretary Aminul Islam.

Md Ziauddin and Khan Md Reza-Un-Nabi will be the divisional commissioners of Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, respectively.

Khondoker Azim Ahmed, additional secretary to ICT Division, became the divisional commissioner of Rajshahi, and Md Firoz Sarker, additional secretary (security and immigration wing) to the Security Services Division, is set to take charge of Khulna division.

Ministry sources said the appointments are aimed at enhancing the efficiency and governance of regional operations.

These new officers will take on key responsibilities, overseeing the implementation of government policies and ensuring effective coordination between local authorities.
