Bangladesh Police sees another major reshuffle

The interim government today transferred a total of 64 senior police officials to new stations.
The officials include- 16 deputy inspector generals (DIGs),26 additional deputy inspector generals (Addl-DIGs) and 22 superintendents of police (SPs).
The Public Security Division of the Home Ministry has issued three separate orders in this regard.
DIGs AZM Nafiul Islam, Md Nisharul Arif, Md Jamil Hasan, Md Mahbubur Rahman and Md Monirul Islam were transferred to Anti Terrorism Unit (ATU) while Imtiaz Ahmed, Md Abdul Kuddus Amin and Mohammad Abul Foyez transferred to River Police.
DIG AKM Nahidul Islam has been transferred to Police Telecom, Amena Begum and Md Azad Mia to Highway Police, Md Monir Hossain to Industrial Police, Md Moniruzzaman to Bangladesh Police Academy, Sarda, Shyamol Mukar Nath and SM Mostak Ahmed Khan to APBn Headquarters and Miraz Uddin Ahmed to Railway Police unit.
