Jamaat demonstrates against barbaric Israeli aggression in Palestine

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City South staged a protest on Thursday against the barbaric attack by occupying Israeli forces in Palestine.


The demonstration took place on Thursday morning in Capital city dhaka, Jatrabari.

Led by Bangladesh's largest Islamic party central Majlis-e-Shura member and Nayeb-e- Amir of Dhaka City South Advocate Dr. Helal Uddin, the protest started at the capital's Baitul Mukarram Mosque, and paraded different others streets in the areas. In the protest, also present were central Majlis-e-Shura members and Assistant Secretaries of Dhaka South, Muha. Delwar Hossain, Mohammad Kamal Hossain, and Dr. Abdul Mannan. Among others present were city working commitee members Professor Mokarram Hossain Khan, Shamsur Rahman, Dr. Mobarak Hossain, among others.

Advocate Dr. Helal Uddin stated at the protest programme that the holy land of Palestine, the arrival place of numerous prophets and messengers, is being subjected to genocide by the terrorist state of Israel.

He emphasized that Israel, as a terrorist state, has been launching attacks on Muslims in Palestine since 1948, leading to the martyrdom of several thousand people.

He particularly condemned the recent atrocities in Gaza, where nearly forty thousand Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in the past seven months.

He highlighted that schools, colleges, hospitals, mosques, and churches are not spared from Israel's barbaric attacks.

Dr Helal urged the international community, including the United Nations and Muslim countries, to take effective steps to stop Israel's barbarism in Gaza immediately.

He emphasized the urgent need to establish an independent Palestinian state to end the Middle East crisis.

He called for a boycott of all Israeli products and businesses and urged the Bangladeshi government to pass resolutions condemning Israel's brutality in Parliament and to take a strong stance against Israel at the international level.

The city leader also mentioned concerns over the landing of two Israeli planes in Bangladesh on the morning of Eid al-Fitr and emphasized that the Bangladeshi people will never accept Israel.

He urged the government to play a strong role in opposing Israeli aggression and to never establish diplomatic relations with Israel.

He called upon the Muslim Ummah and the people of the country to unite against all anti-Muslim conspiracies and to play an active role in the effective resistance against such oppression.
