Gold prices hiked again

Price of 22-carat gold set at Tk118,891 per bhori
The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus) has announced an increase in gold prices.
The price of gold per bhori (11.664 grams) has been raised by Tk1,609, taking the new price to Tk118,891 for 22-carat gold.
The new prices will be in effect from Monday.
According to the new prices, 21-carat gold at Tk113,490, 18-carat gold at Tk97,277, and traditional gold at Tk80,423.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remains unchanged.
