Emphasized focusing on issues within Bangladesh
Krishak Sramik Janata League President Kader Siddique, popularly known as Bangabir Kader Siddique, said that the US ambassador has created divisions in the country by writing a letter to three political parties in Bangladesh.
He argued that no foreigner should have the freedom to intervene in such matters, emphasizing that, according to the country's constitution, the ambassador can be held accountable for committing a serious offense as a citizen of Bangladesh.
Speaking to reporters after paying homage at the shrine of Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani on his 47th death anniversary in Tangail on Friday morning, Kader Siddique urged Muslims not to vote for BNP, which he claimed is supported by the US.
He expressed concern over the treatment of Muslims in Gaza by Israel, emphasizing that no one should align with America at this time.
Kader Siddique emphasized the importance of focusing on the issues within Bangladesh rather than fearing American sanctions.
He criticized the US ambassador's involvement in Bangladesh's election, emphasizing that it is a matter for the citizens of Bangladesh to decide.
Regarding comments made by Jatiya Party's GM Kader about US sanctions, Kader Siddique considered it a significant mistake.
He called for free elections in the country, emphasizing the need for the Election Commission to ensure that all voters can participate without hindrance.
Kader Siddique warned against questioning the legitimacy of the election, adding that it could harm Sheikh Hasina and urged her to control any mischievous elements within her party to safeguard the achievements made.
