Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has been struggling for the establishment a state of justice and fairness on the basis of Islam by Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central working council member and Dhaka Metropolitan South Secretary Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masood said that Jamaat will return to the people with its registration and symbols through the mass movement.

He said these things while leading a protest march and rally in Dhaka Metropolitan South in the capital as part of the program announced as a nationwide strike today on November 21 against the unjust verdict in the registration case of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.

A nationwide program was held today (November 21) to protest against the unjust verdict of registration case of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. He said these while leading a protest march and rally in Dhaka Metropolitan South in the capital.

He said that Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has been struggling for the establishment a state of justice and fairness on the basis of Islam by Bangladesh. Jamaat is a democratic and organized large Islamic political organization. As a registered political organization in Bangladesh, it has participated in most national parliamentary elections and represented in most parliaments. A large number of public representatives have served the country and the nation by participating in the local elections across the country.

We think the government has done this out of political vendetta, he added.

He addressed the crowd and said, "Dear Dhaka residents, do you know the reason for canceling the registration of Jamaat? The main reason for canceling the registration is that Jamaat-e-Islami says in its constitution that Allah is the owner of all power." We do not need to register those who do not obey this.

He also said that this illegal government has announced the schedule of expropriation and farce through the so-called death commission. The people of Bangladesh do not accept this illegal schedule. The people of the country will stop the election of this illegal schedule even with their lives. This Election Commission passed away on the day it was formed. And their funeral and burial were completed on that day by declaring the illegal schedule. There can be no vote in Bangladesh with the so-called death commission after these funerals and burials have been completed. This government should resign, caretaker government system should be returned, Jamaat's registration and symbol should be returned.

He also said that the right of Jamaat to do politics cannot be stopped by canceling the registration. The right to assembly and procession cannot be stopped. The Constitution of Bangladesh has given this right to every citizen. We call on all of us to unite and accelerate the ongoing mass movement against this dictatorial government to ensure the downfall of the government.

The central Majlis –E- Shura member and Assistant Secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South Delawar Hossain and Dr. Abdul Mannan, a member of working Council of Dhaka Metropolitan South Shamsur Rahman, working council member of Dhaka Metropolitan South and labor leader Abdus Salam, Shura member of Dhaka Metropolitan South Abdullah Alamin, Shaheen Ahmed Khan, Abu Nabil, Abu Ammar and Ameer and Secretary of various Thana Jamaat leaders were also present.

Meanwhile, the leaders and activists of Dhaka Metropolis south Jamaat staged another huge protest in the capital on the same demand. Shura member in the Central Majlis and Nayeb Amir of Dhaka Metropolitan South Advocate Helal Uddin gave leadership there.

Muhammad Kamal Hossain, member of Shura in Central Majlis and Assistant Secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South, Professor Mukarram Hossain Khan, member of Shura in Central Majlis and working council member of Dhaka Metropolitan South, and Dr. Mubarak Hossain, Member of the Working Council of Dhaka Metropolitan South. Hafizur Rahman, Kamrul Ahsan Hasan, member of Shura in Dhaka Metropolitan South Majlis Abdur Rahim Jiban, Eng. Muhammad Ali, Mir Bahar, Muhammad Shahjahan, Abu Zainab, Mirza Helal, Sadek Billah, Mozaffar Hossain, Maulana Delawar Hossain, Eng. Tamiz Uddin, Mizanur Rahman, Raqib Uddin of Chhatra Shibir and Ameer and Secretaries of various police stations were also present at the programme.

Advocate Dr. Helal Uddin said, currently the demand of the caretaker government system to restore voting rights in the country, to create a free, fair, impartial and participatory election environment has become the demand of the people. When there is a massive movement in the country on this demand. Jamaat-e-Islami as the third largest popular political organization in Bangladesh is playing a logical role in the interests of the country and its people. The government hastily passed this wrong decision regarding the registration of Jamaat in order to divert this ongoing movement to a different sector. The countrymen disgustingly rejected this unjust judgment.
