dditional Inspector General of Police Habibur Rahman will take charge as the new commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police through a handover ceremony at the DMP headquarters on Saturday.
DMP media wing said outgoing DMP commissioner Khandker Golam Faruq will get a farewell from police personnel as he leaves his office.
Habibur Rahman is currently the chief of the Tourist Police.
