Those leaving their officer inconvenienced by rain
After scorching heat in the morning, the temperature in Dhaka dropped slightly as a few places in the city experienced light rainfall accompanied by stormy winds on Tuesday afternoon.
For those observing Ramadan, the rain came as a blessing.
On Tuesday, the sky was cloudy from the morning, though the temperature was high. The capital was sweltering in the humid heat. As the day progressed, the density of the clouds in the sky started to increase.
At around 2:30pm, the sky turned dark and rain started at about 2:45pm with stormy winds, soaking the streets of Dhaka. However, many faced inconvenience while leaving their offices.
Rainfall was reported in places including Sukrabad, Zigatola, Panthapath, Moghbazar, Old Dhaka, Motijheel, Kakrail, Puran Paltan, Shantinagar and Malibagh in the capital.
