Law Minister: Steps to be taken to bring back Tarique, other convicts

‘Labour law will be passed in upcoming parliament session’
Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq has said that strong steps will be taken to bring back the convicted fugitives who are hiding abroad including BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
He said this in response to questions from journalists at Akhaura railway station premises on Friday.
Regarding the labour law, the minister said: "The labour law will be passed in the upcoming parliament session."
Concerning the letter of 12 US senators about Dr Yunus' trial procedure, the law minister said: "According to the law in the judicial court, Dr Yunus got a fair trial. He has been sentenced. Surely, he will appeal.”
The party leaders greeted the minister when he reached Akhaura station in his constituency Brahmanbaria by train from the capital's Kamalapur railway station in the morning.
