In a weather bulletin issued on Sunday, the department stated that regions within Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions are likely to experience gusty winds accompanied by lightning and rain or thundershowers.
The forecast further indicated that daytime temperatures may decrease by 2°C to 3°C nationwide, while night-time temperatures are expected to see a slight drop as well.
Additionally, meteorologists noted that a stretch of low-pressure area extends from West Bengal, crossing southwestern Bangladesh, and reaching into the North Bay of Bengal, contributing to the unsettled weather conditions.
