According to a report by OTT Play, the series' main actors are returning to the film. The list includes familiar faces like Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Dibyendu Sharma and Shweta Tripathi. In a surprise move, actors Jitendra Kumar and Ravi Kishan are joining the action.

However, the makers have kept it a secret whether they will return to their familiar roles from the series or be cast as brand new troublemakers. However, there is no doubt that the crime drama will be even more exciting.

The exact release date of 'Mirzapur: The Film' has not been announced yet. However, the makers have hinted that the film may be released in theaters in 2026. It will be available on Amazon Prime Video after its release in theaters. Those who are subscribers of the OTT platform 'OTTplay Premium' will be able to watch the film through a special top-up.

'Mirzapur' lead actor Ali Fazal has revealed some important information about the film in an interview. He confirmed that it is being made with the original cast of the series and the story will be set in a time warp.

According to Ali, "Because time is being moved back, maybe some dead people will be seen walking." After this comment, speculation has started among fans that the movie will actually be a 'prequel' or a past story of the series.

As per Ali Fazal's hint, the story going back to the past has opened up the possibility of dead characters from the series returning. Characters like Munna Tripathi (Divyendu) and Compounder (Abhishek Banerjee) could be on this list.
