Shah Rukh expressed his regret for this on his X handle today. He also explained why he made this decision. Shah Rukh wrote on his X handle, 'I have been informed by the authorities that I will not be able to go out and meet all of you.'
"So many of you dear people are waiting for me, but due to crowd control issues, this decision has been made in the interest of everyone's overall safety."
Apologizing, Shah Rukh said, "I express my deep regret to all of you. You will understand the matter and believe me, I will miss this meeting more than you."
He concluded by writing, "I was looking forward to meeting you all and sharing the love. Sending you all lots of love."
