On August 5, a successful brain surgery was performed on him at the Willington Hospital in London under the leadership of Professor Demetrius. Part of the tumor has already been removed. Doctors said that if the entire tumor was removed, there was a risk of death, paralysis, and loss of movement and speech. Therefore, on the advice of doctors, part of the tumor was removed.
Ariful Islam also said that efforts are underway to inactivate the remaining part of the tumor through radiation and chemotherapy. This 'target therapy' began last Friday. It will continue for six weeks, five days a week. After that, he will be under the supervision of a doctor for four weeks.
Ilyas Kanchan has been mentally broken for a long time due to his long stay in London. Leaving his busy life behind and living in London is making him anxious. Due to the therapy, his body has become tired and he is having difficulty speaking. Therefore, the doctors have forbidden him from talking on the phone, said Ariful Islam.
