A function called 'Global Peace Honours' was organised in Mumbai on Saturday. Family members of those killed in the Mumbai, Pahalgaon and Delhi incidents were present.
Addressing everyone, Shah Rukh said, "My humble tributes to those who lost their lives in the 26/11 attacks, Pahalgaon and Delhi. I also salute those who lost their lives while protecting the country."
In Shah Rukh's words, 'If someone asks you what you do, proudly say, I protect the country. If someone asks you how much you earn, then with a smile on your lips, say, I earn the blessings of 1.4 billion people.'
"If they ask you again, 'Aren't you ever afraid?' Look them in the eye and tell them, 'Those who attack us are the ones who are afraid.'"
King Khan also said, "Let us all find the path to peace together. Forget caste, religion and discrimination and walk on the path of humanity so that the fight of our brave martyrs for the peace of the country does not go in vain."
