Time Sports Desk: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Saturday fined Rangpur Riders captain Nurul Hasan 30 per cent of his match fees, while the team’s fast bowler Haris Rauf received warning as duo violated BCB’s Level 1 Code of Conduct.

They violated the rules during Friday’s Bangladesh Premier League match between Rangpur and Sylhet Strikers at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

They breached article 2.8 of the BCB CoC, which refers to showing disagreement on an umpire’s decision during a match.

Besides, both of them were penalised with demerit points added to the disciplinary records with Nurul’s total of three points in the tournament and Rauf was handed one.

The players admitted their offense and accepted the sanction proposed by Match Referee Debabrata Paul and as such, no formal hearing was required.
