Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami welcomes the historic agreement that was reached by the parties in Sharm al Sheikh to end the war in Gaza.
We congratulate and thank President Donald Trump as well as the leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Türkiye and other key countries involved in the negotiations for their leadership in carving a pathway to peace in the Middle East and relieving the immense suffering of the Palestinian people.
We hope this agreement signals a new chapter for the Middle East—one defined by cooperation, understanding, and a collective commitment to peace.
It will be a remarkable and transformative achievement if all parties respect and implement the agreement and transform it into a permanent and lasting solution.
