Time Digital Report: Chhatra League leaders and activists gathered at Shahbagh intersection in the capital this afternoon to protest the pre-announced demonstration by BNP-Jamaat men.
Over hundreds of BCL men of central and Dhaka University units gathered in front of the National Museum around 2:30pm.
They were seen shouting slogans against Chhatra Dal and Jamaat leaders led by DU unit BCL President Mazharul Kabir Shayan and General Secretary Tanvir Hasan Saikat.
Some BCL leaders said Chhatra Dal and Jamaat men may come to campus and create anarchy, so they took a position and held a sit-in program.
