The promotion was announced in a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday (January 27) .
According to sources from the Ministry of Public Administration, many qualified and skilled officers have been left out of the 20th batch of promotions. It is said that a large number of those who had been waiting for promotions for a long time did not find a place in the list.
The notification states that if an officer's office or workplace has already changed from the workplace mentioned in the promotion order, he will submit a joining letter mentioning the name and address of the office he is currently working in.
It further states that if any adverse or different information is subsequently found against any promoted officer, the authorities reserve the right to make necessary amendments or cancel this order.
