Officials said that Tobgay is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday morning.
During the visit, he will attend a series of engagements, including talks with Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus.
Tobgay is expected to leave Dhaka on Monday.
Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam is due to brief the media, outlining the Bhutanese leader’s programmes at the foreign ministry this afternoon.
Dr Yunus extended the invitation to the Bhutanese premier on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in September this year, which Tobgay warmly accepted at the time.
