NCP’s Khulna divisional chief shot

Unidentified assailants shot a National Citizen Party (NCP) leader in Khulna on Monday. Locals rescued him and rushed him to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) for treatment.

The victim was identified as Motaleb Shikdar, the NCP’s Khulna divisional chief and central organiser of the party’s labour wing, Shramik Shakti.

The incident occurred around 12:00 pm. Rafiqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Sonadanga Police Station, confirmed the shooting and said Shikdar is currently receiving medical treatment for his gunshot injuries.
