BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the new list at a press conference on Thursday (December 4) afternoon.

The newly announced constituencies include: Thakurgaon-2, Dinajpur-5, Naogaon-5, Natore-3, Sirajganj-1, Jessore-5, Narail-2, Khulna-1, Patuakhali-2, Barishal-3, Jhalokati-1, Tangail-5, Mymensingh-4, Kishoreganj-1, Kishoreganj-5, Manikganj-1, Munshiganj-3, Dhaka-7, Dhaka-9, Dhaka-10, Dhaka-18, Gazipur-1, Rajbari-2, Faridpur-1, Madaripur-1, Madaripur-2, Sunamganj-2, Sunamganj-4, Sylhet-4, Habiganj-1, Cumilla-2, Chattogram-3, Chattogram-6, Chattogram-9, Chattogram-15 and Cox’s Bazar-2.

Among the candidates, Dr. Abdus Salam has been nominated for Thakurgaon-2, AKM Kamruzzaman for Dinajpur-5, Zahidul Islam Dhulu for Naogaon-5, and Md. Anwarul Islam for Natore-3.

Additionally, Selim Reza will contest in Sirajganj-1, M. Iqbal Hossain in Jessore-5, Monirul Islam in Narail-2, Amir Ejaz Khan in Khulna-1, Mohammad Shahidul Alam Talukder in Patuakhali-2, Joynal Abedin in Barishal-3, and Rafiqul Islam Jamal in Jhalokati-1.

For Tangail-5 and Mymensingh-4, BNP has nominated Sultan Salahuddin Tuku and Abu Wahab Akhad Ali respectively.

Md. Mazharul Islam has been nominated for Kishoreganj-1, Md. Mujibur Rahman Iqbal for Kishoreganj-5, S. A. Jinnah Kabir for Manikganj-1, and Md. Kamruzzaman for Munshiganj-3.

BNP sources indicated that the remaining nominations for the remaining constituencies will be announced soon.
