Students from across Bangladesh have started converging at the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka to participate in the highly anticipated "March for Unity" programme, organized by Students Against Discrimination. The event is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm.

As of 10:30 am, hundreds of students had already gathered at the Shaheed Minar premises, with many arriving in processions carrying banners and chanting slogans against autocracy and the former prime minister Sheikh Hasina. The main stage is still under construction, with sound equipment and other setup activities underway.

Shafiqul Islam, a student from Moulvibazar, reported that around 300 students from his area alone had traveled to Dhaka to join the gathering. The energy at the venue is palpable, as participants unite to demand justice, equality, and reforms.

The "March for Unity" programme has been gaining momentum nationwide, with students and citizens eagerly awaiting the start of what is expected to be a significant demonstration of unity and purpose.
