A meeting at the Chief Adviser's Office (CAO), chaired by Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus, approved the proposal today (November 6).
After the meeting, Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam shared the news at a briefing at the Foreign Service Academy.
"Of the holidays, 14 are general, and the remaining are holidays by executive order. As 11 holidays fall on weekends (Fridays and Saturdays), the officials will actually enjoy 17 government holidays in total," he said.
