The issue came to light when media outlets reported that the student from the Government Mirpur Bangla College Center in Dhaka missed her exam on Thursday, June 26, due to the delay in getting her mother medical attention. The authorities are now actively addressing the situation.

In a statement sent by the Chief Advisor's Press Wing on Friday morning, Education Advisor Professor Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar (CR Abrar) assured that the situation is being taken seriously. He explained, "The issue of this student is being viewed from a humanitarian perspective. We are making efforts to resolve the matter regarding her ability to take the Bangla First Paper exam, in accordance with the laws and regulations surrounding public exams. We also extend our sympathy to her during this difficult time. We request the examinee not to worry."

As the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations began on June 26, authorities are considering the student's case with empathy, while ensuring that any decisions align with existing rules and guidelines for examination procedures.
