Assistant Meteorologist Kazi Jebunnesa provided the forecast on Monday, July 13, indicating that thunderstorms with wind speeds reaching 45-60 km/h from the south and southeast are likely to occur over the Faridpur, Madaripur, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, and Cox's Bazar regions by 1 AM. River ports in these regions have been advised to display the warning signal as a precautionary measure.

In addition, the Meteorological Office issued another forecast for Tuesday, July 14, predicting light to moderate rain and thunderstorms in most areas of Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, and Barisal divisions. Many places in Chittagong and Sylhet divisions may also experience similar weather conditions by 6 PM. The forecast also predicts moderate to heavy rainfall in parts of Khulna and Rajshahi divisions, with the possibility of very heavy rain in certain areas.

As a result of these weather conditions, temperatures across the country are expected to drop slightly, both during the day and at night.

Authorities have urged the public to stay alert and take necessary precautions, especially in regions prone to thunderstorms and heavy rainfall.
