According to the election schedule, the last date for withdrawal of candidacy is January 20. The returning officer will publish the final list of candidates and allocate symbols on January 21. The election campaign will begin on January 22. Campaigning can be conducted until 7:30 am on February 10. And voting will be held on February 12 from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. After the appeal hearing, there are a total of 2,254 valid candidates.

EC officials said that if a party has fielded multiple candidates for a seat and all or more of them survive the selection process, the party concerned will have to announce who it will field on Tuesday. In this case, candidatures can be withdrawn until 5 pm.
