The meeting was chaired by Chief Adviser and ECNEC Chairperson Dr. Muhammad Yunus and took place at the Planning Commission premises. Of the 13 projects approved, three are new, seven are revised, and three involve extensions of project duration without any increase in cost.

According to the Planning Commission, the total cost of the approved projects stands at Tk 1,988.7 crore. Of this amount, Tk 532.2 crore will come as loans, Tk 500 crore will be financed from the organizations’ own funds, and the remainder will be provided by the government exchequer.

Officials said the approved projects aim to enhance infrastructure, improve rural connectivity, modernize testing and industrial facilities, and strengthen health and agricultural systems across the country.
