At least 12 people were killed in a suicide bombing outside a local court in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, on Tuesday, the country’s interior minister confirmed.

The explosion occurred near the court premises, causing panic and chaos in the area. Emergency services and law enforcement personnel rushed to the scene, cordoning off the site and transporting the injured to nearby hospitals.

No group has immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. The attack comes less than a day after a cadet college was attacked by militants in northwestern Pakistan.
