“This revised voter list will be officially published on November 18,” said Akhtar Ahmed. “The upcoming national election will be conducted based on this updated list.”
According to EC data, this is the third voter list update conducted within the year. The latest statistics show a total of 127,612,384 registered voters, including 64,760,382 males, 62,850,772 females, and 1,230 third-gender voters.
Officials said the voter list update is part of the commission’s election preparation activities. Following the final publication, the 13th National Parliamentary Election will be held based on this comprehensive and verified voter list.
The EC also confirmed that no further amendments will be made after the final list is published on November 18.
