Before meeting with the President, the Election Commission will hold a meeting on December 7 with a schedule.
An election commissioner confirmed this information on Thursday (December 4).
The Election Commissioner, who did not want to be named, said that he will meet the President on December 10. The schedule may be announced within a couple of days.
Earlier, Election Commissioner Md. Anwarul Islam Sarkar said that the schedule will be decided in the commission meeting and finalized after meeting the President. He has already said that the schedule will be announced any day of the week after the meeting on Sunday (December 7).
According to EC sources, the schedule for the parliamentary elections may be announced in the second week of December (December 8, December 9, December 10 or December 11). And the voting will be held in the second week of February (any day between February 8 and February 12).
