Yashaswi Jaiswal was caught by Quinton de Kock while playing a big short with the team's 24 runs. Before being dismissed, he scored 18 runs with two fours and a six.
After Jaiswal was dismissed, another experienced Indian batsman and former captain Virat Kohli came to the crease with the bat. The batsman opened the account with a four on the first ball.
After Virat came to the crease, Rohit opened his hands and started playing shots. The duo's onslaught resulted in 80 runs in the first power play.
As of this writing, India's total is 94 runs for the loss of 1 wicket after 12 overs. Kohli is batting on 37 runs in 32 balls and Rohit Sharma is batting on 27 runs in 24 balls.
