Regional Forecast Breakdown:

  • Wednesday (April 30):
    Thunderstorms with gusty winds are expected in parts of Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, with isolated occurrences in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, and Mymensingh divisions. Slight increases in daytime and nighttime temperatures are likely across the country.
  • Thursday (May 1):
    Thunderstorms are likely in areas of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Mymensingh, and Sylhet, with isolated events in Rangpur, Barisal, and Chattogram. Temperatures may slightly decrease.
  • Friday (May 2):
    Scattered storms with gusty winds may occur in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Mymensingh, and Sylhet, with isolated chances in Barisal and Chattogram. Temperatures are expected to remain mostly unchanged.
  • Saturday (May 3):
    Localized thunderstorms may impact parts of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet, while isolated areas in Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal, and Chattogram may also experience similar weather. Temperatures will likely remain stable.
  • Sunday (May 4):
    Thunderstorms with gusty winds could hit isolated areas in all eight divisions: Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram, and Sylhet. A slight rise in temperatures is anticipated.

The Met Office also noted a potential decrease in rainfall activity and a gradual increase in temperatures over the next five days.
