The National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery discharged him today (November 20), said its acting Director Professor Dr Nasir Uddin. “His regular follow-up will continue. We’ll provide all necessary medical support,” he added.

Aryan was admitted to the hospital on July 21 with about 40 percent burns. He underwent 34 surgeries, was taken to the ICU eight times, and was put on life support for three days, doctors said.

Bangladesh experienced its deadliest military plane crash on July 21 when a Bangladesh Air Force training jet crashed into the Milestone School and College campus in Uttara, just 21 minutes after takeoff.

Flight Lieutenant Towkir Islam Sagar, the pilot of the F-7 BGI aircraft, died in the crash. The accident resulted in the deaths of 36 people, including 28 students, three teachers, three parents, and one staff member.

The F-7 BGI is the final and most advanced variant in China's Chengdu J-7/F-7 aircraft family, according to Jane’s Information Group. Bangladesh signed a contract for 16 aircraft in 2011, and deliveries were completed by 2013.

An official investigation blamed the pilot for the crash. The government has decided to conduct air force training outside Dhaka to avert such accidents.
