He made the remarks while speaking to reporters after a meeting of the core committee on law and order held on Sunday (October 12).
When asked about the recovery of missing weapons, the advisor said, “Maybe I can talk to the IGP and provide details at the next meeting.”
He added that necessary measures are being taken to ensure that no one can create instability during the upcoming national elections. “Not all weapons are always recovered—some remain outside. That is why law enforcement is essential. If all weapons were recovered, there would be no need for law enforcement, and the election would take place naturally. There is no problem. God willing, the election will be held peacefully,” he said.
When asked whether he personally supports the idea of a safe exit for advisors, he reiterated, “Who wants what is their personal matter. All my children are in the country. What will I do alone with a safe exit?”
Regarding reports that accused army members might be kept in military custody during their trial, the advisor stated, “Whatever is stated in the law will be followed.”
