Jamaat Amir said, if the river gets its life back, North Bengal will get its life back. Therefore, the Teesta Master Plan must be implemented. We don't care who likes and who doesn't like the implementation of the Teesta Master Plan. If you give us the responsibility, we will first put a spade in the Teesta in North Bengal.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, "We do not want the rule of any single party, we want the rule of the people. Where there will be scholars and ulama, there will be patriotic people - those who love the country but will not accept hegemony. We will build the Bangladesh of the future with everyone, Inshallah."

He said, "We want to work with everyone. However, to work, we have to follow three conditions - do not commit corruption yourself, do not shelter any corrupt person, and ensure justice for the rich and the poor, men and women, people of all religions and castes. The judiciary will be completely independent; there will be no interference from any politician."

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, the people of Bangladesh were oppressed by the fascist regime for the last 17 years. The human rights that were supposed to be given were not obtained. A huge place in Canada is inhabited only by the families of people who fled. Since their Begums live in all those places, that is why they named them Begumpara. What was the benefit of so much looting? You did not get peace. You killed scholars and ulama. You dismembered a woman to vote for one mark. You tried to tarnish the honor and reputation of our mothers and sisters. Starting from the Peelkhana massacre in 2009 to August 5, 2024, countless people have been killed, injured, and disappeared. Jamaat-Shibir was banned. 11 senior leaders of Jamaat were killed. More than a thousand of our leaders and activists were killed. Hundreds of people were taken into the mirror of the house of disappearance. After the 5th, we had hopes of living in peace. But our hopes were dashed. The people of Rangpur are peaceful. They are content with little.

Stating that we were the most persecuted, the Jamaat Amir said, "We have not harassed any innocent people by filing cases. When the name of an innocent person was mentioned, we have freed them. We have not asked for a ransom to free anyone. We want a Bangladesh free from extortionists, corruption, dishonest and fraudsters. If any dishonest person makes false promises, show them a red card. We are people of four religions living in this country. Allah has sent us to this country of His own will. Allah has arranged sustenance for people of all religions. Muslims cannot harm any other religion. We do not want to make Bangladesh Pakistan, Afghanistan or Iran. We want to make Bangladesh a beloved and proud Bangladesh."

Stating that we do not want to give any unemployment allowance, Shafiqur Rahman said, "Unemployment allowance creates a factory for the unemployed. We want to give work to men and women. We want to turn the men and women of the country into assets. We all have mothers and sisters in our homes. So if women can work at home, they can also work with honor outside. During the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), women participated in wars. We will not look at what religion women belong to. We will look at how qualified they are. Our mothers and sisters will be given honorable work according to their qualifications."

The Jamaat Ameer also said, everyone can come with us. But to come, three conditions must be met. First, corruption cannot be done. Second, there must be a desire to ensure justice; there must be no interference in the judicial system. Third, we must come without the rotten politics of the last 54 years. The politics of the last 54 years has only taken the country backwards. We will make North Bengal the capital of agro-industry, God willing. We will build an agricultural university in North Bengal, if necessary, God willing. We said, we will not harm anyone, we did not.

Regarding North Bengal, he further said, "North Bengal has not been poor since the creation of Bangladesh; this region has been deliberately kept backward. It has been treated like a stepmother's child, yet it is North Bengal that provides food and nutrition to the country."

He promised that in the coming days, we do not want to see any more unemployed people from North Bengal. Every youth will be made an artisan to build the country through dignified work. The closed sugar mills will be reopened and the workers will be brought back into employment.

The Jamaat Amir said, "We have no card - you are our card. With your love, support and prayers, we want to build a Bangladesh free from the pit of mercy." He claimed, "We have not left our countrymen in times of danger, and we will not do so in the future."

Regarding healthcare, he said, "People of North Bengal have to travel to Dhaka for better treatment, which is not possible for everyone. If Jamaat gets the opportunity to form the government, no district of the country will be left without a medical college. A medical college will also be established in Thakurgaon."

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, we cannot build Bangladesh alone. So this time, not only Jamaat-e-Islami, but also the alliance of 10 freedom-loving parties of Bangladesh must be voted to victory. The nation must unite to build a new Bangladesh. Regarding unemployment allowance, he said, many are talking about giving unemployment allowance if they come to power. We do not want to hand over the key to dishonor to anyone; we want to hand over the work of honor.

Highlighting the political reality of 54 years, the Jamaat Amir said, "The country has been drowned in rotten politics, corruption and misrule. This system must be changed, discrimination must be put to an end." Regarding economic corruption, he further said, "Money stolen from the country and smuggled abroad will be recovered and no one will be allowed to loot in the future."

Regarding voting rights, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, "Everyone must be aware of protecting the rights of people who have not been able to vote for a long time. The movement will continue until discrimination, corruption, extortion and dictatorship are ended."

Jamaat leader ATM Azhar, NCP member secretary Akhtar Hossain, Shibir central secretary Sibgatullah Sibga, Jamaat-e-Islami candidates from 6 parliamentary constituencies and leaders of 10-party alliances were present.
