Xiaomi's new tab for a big screen experience

Xiaomi's two new tabs - Redmi Pad 2 Pro and Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G - were officially unveiled in Dhaka on January 25. As the demand for work and entertainment on a large screen increases, Xiaomi has brought these new tabs with the promise of a premium experience.

The company says that the large 12.1-inch 2.5K resolution display and 120Hz refresh rate will provide a smooth experience in all areas - watching videos, online classes, or gaming. TUV Rheinland's Low Blue Light, Flicker Free, and Circadian Friendly certifications have been added for eye protection.

The pad also attracts attention in terms of battery. The 12,000 mAh battery ensures long-term use. In addition, it can also be used as a power bank in an emergency due to the 27-watt reverse charging facility. The processor is the fourth-generation Snapdragon Seven-S. Which will make multitasking and daily work more dynamic.

The 5G version has physical and e-SIM facilities, allowing for direct calling and mobile data usage. This makes the tab a great alternative to a smartphone. The two devices are available in Graphite Gray, Silver, and Lavender Purple. The WiFi version is priced at Tk 37,999 and the 5G version is priced at Tk 44,999.

Curved display and long-term use promise

The MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset is used as the processor. Infinix claims that it will ensure stable performance in multitasking and gaming.

The 6500 mAh battery makes it possible to use for more than a day. 'Self-healing' technology has been added to increase battery life. There is also a long-term guarantee in terms of software - three years of operating system updates and five years of security patches.

There is a 50-megapixel camera for photography. Which supports AI-based image processing. The price of the phone in Bangladesh has been set at 29,999 taka for the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage version and 31,999 taka for the 256 GB storage version.
