TikTok recently released its Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for the third quarter of 2025. The report, which covers three months from July to September, details the platform's content monitoring, removal process, and steps taken to ensure user safety. TikTok says it uses both automated technology and human verification to create a safe and trustworthy digital environment.
According to the report, a total of 27.93 million videos were removed in Bangladesh in the third quarter of 2025 for violating community guidelines. Of these, 99.8 percent were detected before or very quickly after the content was uploaded. 97.3 percent of the detected videos were removed from the platform within 24 hours. TikTok says that rapid detection and removal reduces the risk of harmful or misleading content spreading.
A total of 204.534932 videos were removed from TikTok worldwide during the same period. This number is about 0.7 percent of the total content uploaded to the platform during that quarter. The vast majority of the removed videos, more than 186.68 million, were identified by automated technology. However, the decision was not final in all cases. After verification, 8.950735 videos were returned to TikTok. The company sees this as an example of incorrect identification. 99.3 percent of the content removed globally was previously identified and 94.8 percent of it was removed within 24 hours.
The report also includes information on actions taken against accounts in addition to content. To maintain the security and credibility of the platform, 118,618,399 fake accounts were removed during the quarter. In addition, 22,26,542 accounts were closed for being identified as users under the age of 13, in accordance with TikTok's policies. TikTok says the main goal of this action is to ensure the safety of underage users.
The report also analyzed the type of content removed. About 30 percent of the total removed videos were sensitive content. Which is not in line with the platform's policies. 15.7 percent of videos were removed for violating safety policies and 2.7 percent for violating privacy and security guidelines. In addition, 32.9 percent of videos were removed for incorrect information. On the other hand, 34.4 percent of videos were removed because they were identified as edited or artificially generated content. In TikTok's words, these videos may mislead viewers or hide factual information.
TikTok said that the details of the Community Guidelines Enforcement Report have been published in its Transparency Center. The report for the third quarter of 2025, along with content policies, safety tools, and policy explanations, will be available there. The information is available in both Bengali and English.
