Earlier, there had been some concerns regarding India’s participation in the upcoming ACC meeting, as reports suggested that India had called for the meeting to be moved out of Bangladesh. However, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam Bulbul confirmed on Monday that India will indeed attend the meeting.

“The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is the mother cricket body of Asia. We have never hosted any big meeting of this scale before,” said Bulbul, expressing his satisfaction with the development.

Bulbul went on to elaborate, "The official dinner will be held on the 23rd, followed by the SSC AGM on the 24th in Dhaka. Almost all countries will participate in the event. This is a big achievement for us, and everything is proceeding smoothly so far."

The announcement has generated excitement, as the ACC AGM is expected to clarify important details regarding the organization of the Asia Cup. The confirmation of India's attendance comes as a positive sign for regional cricket diplomacy, especially considering previous tensions surrounding the event's venue and organizational logistics.

With only a few days remaining until the ACC AGM, all eyes will be on Dhaka, where the decisions made could have significant implications for the Asia Cup and the future of cricket in Asia.
