The promotions were announced in three separate notifications issued by the Police-1 Branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday (October 21). The circulars were signed by Deputy Secretary Md. Mahbubur Rahman.
According to the notifications, 33 police inspectors (unarmed), 18 police inspectors (city and vehicles), and 29 police inspectors (armed) have been promoted and assigned to the Police Department.
The promoted officers have been instructed to submit their joining letters to the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs through the proper authorities.
The order, issued in the public interest, takes immediate effect, the notification added.
