According to the circular, Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) SM Hasanul Zahid has been transferred to Sarada, Rajshahi, while PBI Superintendent Mohammad Salah Uddin Talukder has been reassigned to the Mymensingh Range Police. Tangail PTC Superintendent AFM Al Kibria has been appointed as CID Superintendent of Police, and Gaibandha Commandant Abu Sayem Pradhan has been posted as Rangpur PTC Superintendent of Police.
Additionally, DMP Deputy Commissioner Shafiqul Islam has been transferred as AIG of the Police Department, Police Staff College SP Muhammad Shafi Iqbal has been posted as CID Superintendent of Police, and PBI Superintendent Muhammad Kamal Hossain has been transferred to the Gaibandha In-Service Center.
Other changes include APBN SP Ukya Singh, who has been made PBI Superintendent of Police, while Rangpur Range Police SP Sanatan Chakraborty, who was recently promoted to a supernumerary position, has been transferred to Rangpur Metropolitan Police. Industrial Police SP Mohammad Fakhruzzaman Jewel will now serve as Sherpur In-Service Center SP, and Police Department SP Muhammad Ismail Hussain has been appointed as AIG at the Police Headquarters.
Meanwhile, the transfer orders for PBI SP Md. Abu Yusuf and RAB SP Zahidur Rahman to the Police Directorate have been canceled, the notice added.
The ministry stated that the transfer orders were made in the public interest and would take immediate effect.
