Arsonists torched the upper deck of the bus
A group of unidentified miscreants have torched a BRTC double decker bus in Dhaka amid the ongoing 48-hour hartal enforced by BNP and its like-minded parties.
The incident took place in Mirpur-10 area on Monday afternoon.
Two fire engines reached the spot around 2:35pm and firefighters doused the blaze around 2:45pm, said Shahjahan Sardar, senior station officer of Mirpur Fire Station.
The arsonists set the fire on the upper deck of the bus, he said.
