This information was announced in a press release sent from the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Saturday (November 15).
The notification said that from 8 am on Friday (November 14) to 8 am on Saturday (November 15), 125 patients were admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever in Rishal division, 136 in Chittagong division, 107 in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 226 in Dhaka North City, 121 in Dhaka South City, 60 in Mymensingh division (outside the City Corporation), and 2 in Sylhet division (outside the City Corporation).
It said, meanwhile, 783 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country in the past 12 hours. With this, 80,243 people have been discharged this year. A total of 83,858 patients have been admitted to hospitals since January this year.
According to a report from the Department of Health, 331 people have died of dengue so far this year.
It is worth noting that in 2024, 101,214 people were infected with dengue in the country and a total of 575 people died from dengue.
