With the new cases, the total number of dengue infections in 2025 has risen to 60,791. During the same period, four more people died from the mosquito-borne disease, raising the total death toll to 249.

The DGHS daily report, published Monday afternoon, stated that among the latest fatalities, two were reported from the Rajshahi division, one from the Mymensingh division, and one from Dhaka South City Corporation. Meanwhile, 891 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours.

Health authorities also reported that 65.3 percent of the newly infected are male, with the highest number of patients aged between 21 and 25 years.

Officials have urged city dwellers to remain cautious and eliminate mosquito breeding sources as dengue infections continue to rise nationwide.
