Encouragingly, no deaths were reported during this period, marking a death-free day amid the ongoing dengue outbreak.

The DGHS report said that among the newly admitted patients, 73 were from Barishal division, 87 from Chattogram, 13 from Khulna, and 33 from Mymensingh. Within the Dhaka division, 104 patients were admitted outside the city corporation areas, while 111 were from Dhaka North City Corporation and 47 from Dhaka South City Corporation.

Meanwhile, 474 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals over the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries this year to 60,737.

Since the beginning of 2025, a total of 63,638 dengue patients have been hospitalized across the country, while the death toll stands at 259, according to DGHS data.

Health officials said the trend indicates that while the infection rate remains significant, hospital recoveries continue to outpace new admissions, offering a positive sign in controlling the disease.
