Time News Desk: Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir Dhaka City West Branch organized a Prayer Assembly for the injured Palestinians and for the forgiveness of the martyrs in the brutal attack by the illegal occupying Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.
The Prayer Assembly program was held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday (October 25, 2023) at Shaheed Emdadullah Auditorium in the capital.
Engineer MA Zaman Bhuiyan, member of the Central Executive Council and President of Dhaka City West Branch presided over the program while Engineer Sirajul Islam, former central president of Chhatra Shibir was present as the chief guest. Branch Secretary HMS Mahmud moderated the program. Other branches and thana representatives were present at the time.
Engineer Sirajul Islam said that Support and love for the oppressed of Palestine is the sole demand of every Muslim's faith. According to the latest information, about five thousand Palestinian children, teenagers, old men, and women have been martyred by the occupying Israel zionist group. Nearly 2000 of them are children. Even the occupying Israeli forces brazenly targeted some hospitals. By this attack, they are basically violating all the international laws of war. It is a heinous betrayal of humanity, genocidal terrorism, and a heinous crime against humanity. The Gaza Strip has become heavy with the smell of corpses. Deprived of water, gas, electricity, and food supply has worsened the condition. Oppressed Palestinian residents are living an inhuman life.
Sirajul Islam called on the world to extend help to save the Palestinians from the killings of the aggressors to restore the rights that have been taken away from them and to immediately stop the attacks on the freedom-seeking Palestinian people, provide a permanent solution to the Palestinian problem and provide effective measures to quickly provide food and medical assistance to the affected Palestinian people. I call upon the UN, OIC, international community, and all democratic states of the world to accept.
At the same time, I call upon all the humanitarian organizations and other states of the world to come forward with a helping hand to the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza.
We pray to Allah Ta'ala to accept their martyrdom and speedy recovery of the wounded who are giving their lives in the great freedom movement of Palestine. At the same time, we express our deepest condolences to the injured and the families of the dead and injured.
