Jamaat Ameer's concern over Osman Hadi's shooting incident

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has expressed deep concern over the shooting of Inqilab Manch spokesperson and independent candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency, Sharif Osman Hadi.

According to hospital authorities, Osman Hadi is currently receiving treatment at the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman voiced his concern in a Facebook status posted at 3:13 pm on Friday (December 12).

In the post, he stated that violence stemming from political rivalry or differences of opinion is never acceptable. He also called for a swift, impartial and transparent investigation into the shooting incident.

The Jamaat chief prayed for Osman Hadi’s quick recovery and sought blessings from Allah Almighty for his well-being.
