The procession began at around 11 a.m. on Saturday (November 8) from the main gate of Nawabganj Government College under Bulbul’s leadership.

Participants rode through several key roads in the district, including New Market, Bishwaroad, and Shantimoar, before concluding in front of the Chapainawabganj Municipality.

Following the rally, Nurul Islam Bulbul addressed the crowd, claiming that the growing public support for Jamaat-e-Islami and its election symbol, the Dhapipalla (Scale), had frustrated rival political groups. He alleged that certain parties were spreading misinformation against Jamaat and its candidates.

“Jamaat-e-Islami does politics for the welfare of the people,” Bulbul said. “In the upcoming election, people will vote for Dhapipalla in recognition of Jamaat’s humanitarian efforts, development activities, and long-standing struggles.”

He added, “We do not seek to be rulers; we want to serve the people. Together, we will transform Chapainawabganj into a prosperous region, InshaAllah. We have always stood by the people in times of joy and sorrow and will continue to do so in the future, InshaAllah.”

Among those present at the event were former MP Latifur Rahman, District Ameer Abu Jar Gifari, District Secretary Abu Bakkar, Sadar Upazila Ameer Hafiz Abdul Alim, Municipal Ameer Hafiz Golam Rabbani, along with Jamaat leaders and activists from different levels of the organization.
