Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafikur Rahman said, the dark clouds in the sky of our country have not completely disappeared. The black vulture's paws are still trying to match. But trusting in Almighty God, I can say that I will give my life, but I will not give an inch of land to anyone.

When people are breathing peace after the 5th change, we are being attacked again and again inside this country to take away this peace.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the workers conference organized by Faridpur District Jamaat on Sunday (December 1) afternoon. The conference was organized at the Government Rajendra College ground in Faridpur city.

Amir of Jamaat said that no one can defeat a nation that fights unitedly. We will be united. I will face all challenges in the future with trust in Allah. We are very hopeful that a golden Bangladesh can be formed in the future.

He said, if we show respect to the people and consider them as resources, if we can continue to fight for the liberation of the people as a part of the people, then the liberation of the people will come. I urge you to prepare for that liberation struggle, to improve your moral standards, worldly standards and prepare for greater sacrifices.

Shafiqur Rahman said, if Allah gives us a chance, we will form a welfare state regardless of caste, religion and caste. We want a country where there will be no violence based on caste or religion. Temples will not need to be guarded, mosques will not need to be guarded, churches will not need to be guarded, pagodas will not need to be guarded. People will respect people on that day and stand tall.

Amir of Jamaat said, "Slander about us, Jamaat-e-Islami will not allow women to leave the house if it comes to power." It is as if we have made brass locks for all rooms. The day after I come to power I will call the men out and lock them out so that you women who are there can't come out. Allah's Messenger (PBUH) included women in the war, who are we to lock their houses.

He said that if they (Jamaat) establish the state, they will force everyone to wear black burqa. No one will be forced to wear a black burqa. Those who want to wear it will wear it as a symbol of dignity. How can we force people of other religions to wear the burqa? They did not believe in this religion. Is the veil of Islam obligatory on those who do not believe in Islam? Who gave us the right to impose on them? Just as someone who wants to wear a burqa with faith and Islam on their chest will not be reprimanded, similarly if someone does not wear such a dress for special or religious reasons, he will not be reprimanded either.

This is the statement I made yesterday (Saturday) in Satkhira. But a TV distorted my speech. They said the Amir of the Jamaat has said that women can wear whatever they want. Most of the media now presents the truth as the truth. I congratulate them. I urge the friends of the media world to be careful so that two-one media does not become a cause of disrepute in the media world.

Amir of Jamaat said Pilkhana massacre was done to destroy army and BDR. We want justice for this murder. Besides, we want to know the identity of the person who had the switch.

Commenting that no patriot runs away, he said, Awami League did not love the country, they ran away because they were not patriotic. If you love people, you don't have to run away from the country.

Amir of Jamaat said, Awami League has done some visible developmental work. However, the expenditure of five lakh taka has been shown for the development of one lakh taka. Of this, four lakh rupees have been smuggled abroad.

Jamaat Assistant Secretary General AH Hamidur Rahman Azad and Central Executive Committee member Mobarrok Hossain spoke as special guests at the meeting.

District Jamaat Ameer Maulana Muhammad Badruddin spoke in the meeting among others, Central Shura Member and Regional Team Member Abdud Tawab, Ali Ahsar Maburur son of Jamaat's former Secretary General Ali Ahsan Mujahid, Hasan Maudud son of former Assistant General Secretary Abdul Quader Molla and others.
